On July 30, 2025, the White House released an Executive Order (“EO”) from President Donald Trump that determines, for reasons of national emergency, the imposition of an additional tariff of 40% on a series of products originating in Brazil – and which is in addition to the 10% tariff already in force provided for in the EO of April 2, 2025.
