MSMES: RELIEF FROM EXPORT DUTIES

Decree 302/2021 dated May 7, 2021, published on May 8, 2021 and effective as from the day following its publication, exempted from export duties exports of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on goods included in the tariff positions of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM) detailed in the annex to the regulation, as long as the annual FOB value of such goods does not exceed the ceiling of US$500 thousand inclusive. TAX ON DEBITS AND CREDITS TO BE APPLIED TO PSP PAYMENT ACCOUNTS

On May 8, 2021, Decree 301/21 was published in the Official Gazette of the Nation, which established that, as of August 1, 2021, the Tax on Credits and Debits in Bank Accounts and Other Transactions (the "Tax") will be applied to the movement of funds in payment accounts of payment service providers ("PSP") and companies engaged in electronic payment and/or collection services on behalf of third parties. Regime for the promotion of job creation in the Norte Grande

The AFIP ruled that private sector employers who hire new workers for an indeterminate time, from 1 April 2021 and for the next 12 months, provided that they perform their tasks in the provinces of #Catamarca, #Chaco, #Corrientes, #Formosa, #Jujuy, #LaRioja, #Misiones, #Salta, #SantiagodelEstero or #Tucumán, they will be able to access the benefit of reduction in the payment of employer contributions.
